Gamers Play iPad 3X Longer
Mobclix is a mobile add exchange network based in Palo Alto, CA. The company provides products and services for mobile advertising. In addition, they conduct market research by tracking trends from their 300 million monthly impressions. TechCrunch reports today that Mobclix is releasing a series of infographics that highlight these trends. The first graphic for July is particularly interesting.
One point that really jumps out to us is data that users will spend approximately 3 times as long playing a game on iPad as the same game on iPhone. This speaks to the power of the iPad experience that is influenced merely by the screen size of the device. This statistic affirms what many of us already felt intuitively: in terms of interactivity for multitouch and 3D graphics, size really matters.
