Pinpointing Geo-Locations

In the context of creating location-aware experiences, it is often necessary to identify the coordinates of a given place or address with exacting precision.  Fortunately it's easy to do!

There are a number of available services, but one we like is offered by http://itouchmap.com.  They offer a free and easy to use service for converting all sorts of geo-location data.  To get started, go to: http://itouchmap.com/latlong.html.  The quickest way to get started is to use the interactive map to scroll and zoom to your desired location.  Click on the map in your spot.  An annotation pin will be placed in that location with a dialog box listing the latitude and longitude coordinates.

Copy and paste these coordinates to assemble your list of places.  That's it!
